KIDS’ ZONE
SUNDAY SCHOOL HOUR
SUNDAYS AT 9:45 AM
Kids Zone is for children in 1st through 6th grade and begins at 9:45am! During the Sunday school Hour, children will have a 15 minute opening that includes singing, going over God’s promises, and collecting an offering which goes to missions. We have an offering goal of $350.00 per year, and we have accomplished that goal for the last five years! The Sunday school curriculum used during this time is Accent Sunday school Curriculum.
JUNIOR CHURCH
SUNDAYS AT 11 AM
Junior church is for children in grades 1-4 and is an opportunity for children to worship God in a time that is geared towards them while the adults have their morning worship service. We begin our time with singing, followed by our Bible lesson (we are currently working through the stories of the Old Testament).
After the lesson, we have a time of review in which the children play various games where they have to answer a review question in order to have a turn in the game.
Our Kids Zone episodes are available on YouTube and the FBC Facebook page! The Peter Panda Kids Zone episodes air each Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
EXPEDITIONS
WEDNESDAYS AT 7 PM
Expeditions is an exciting and adventure-filled children's program designed for children ages 3 years old up through the 6th grade. The program places a strong emphasis on missions, scripture memory, and developing Christian character. This year’s Expedition will take the children to China to study the life of Hudson Taylor. The children's books and the lessons taught each night focus on helping the children to understand more about what missions is, how they can support missionaries around the world right now, and how they can become a great soldier in the army of the Lord.
FEES:
Each book is only $6 per child. Books will not be given to the child until payment has been received. Payments may be made online using this link, or made via cash at the Expeditions registration on Wednesday night.
DATES:
The first semester of Expeditions 2023 will begin Wednesday, August 30, at 7 p.m. and run most Wednesday nights through December 20.
